Megan “MJ” Daniels brings over 15 years of business experience and ten years in both managerial and public accounting to her role as Business Manager at cHb Advisors. Since joining the firm at the beginning of 2023, she has played a pivotal role in stabilizing and expanding the administrative department, implementing efficient financial systems, and driving operational improvements.

MJ’s background in both managerial and public accounting make her a valuable asset to cHb Advisors and our clients. She has successfully led ERP software implementations at a glass and door company, introduced QuickBooks solutions for a managerial firm, and served as controller for an off-road tire company. Within cHb Advisors, she has initiated the integration of CCH software, developed a new invoicing process, and enhanced internal operations to support the firm’s continued growth.

As a natural leader and problem solver, MJ thrives on improving processes and building strong teams. She has been instrumental in recruiting students from college campuses, leveraging her connections to establish a structured internship program that aligns with cHb Advisors’ long-term vision of supporting new generations of accountants. Her ability to train and mentor ensures that the firm remains adaptable and forward-thinking.

Through her positive energy, self-starter mentality, and ability to foster a comfortable yet professional and productive environment, MJ embodies cHb Advisors commitment to excellence. She has brought stability and growth to the Business Administration department, alleviating administrative responsibilities from leadership so they can focus more on strategic initiatives. No matter the task, MJ is dedicated to driving advancement and efficiency at every level.

Personal

Originally from Peoria, Illinois - another lively river town - MJ now enjoys life in St. Louis, where she and her daughter, Sofia, live with their two dogs named Charley and Delaney, along with a cat named Goldfish. In her spare time, MJ enjoys expressing her creativity through singing and staying active through strength training, rollerblading, and hiking.
